Two sisters. Two expressions. One point of view.
BENNCH began with two sisters, Neha and Naina Chaudhary, and a shared belief that getting dressed doesn’t have to fit neatly into categories.
The name BENNCH comes from benchmark, a reflection of our ambition to create our own standard for elevated everyday clothing. The double N is a little nod to the two of us: two perspectives, two personalities, two ways of seeing the world, brought together into one brand.
We wanted to create clothes that existed somewhere between casual and occasion wear. Pieces that could feel effortless, but never ordinary. Familiar, but with something unexpected about them.
That space became BENNCH.
BENNCH is where precision meets play. Clean, contemporary silhouettes meet expressive prints and colour. Minimalism meets maximalism. The considered meets the imperfect. There is a quiet tension in everything we make, a little bit of yin and yang, a little bit of wabi-sabi; because we believe that contrast is what makes things interesting.
We care deeply about how a garment looks, but equally about how it is made and how it lives with you. Our approach is rooted in conscious materials, thoughtful construction and pieces designed to move beyond a single season.
And then came Otouto.
If BENNCH is the more expressive sibling, Otouto is its softer side.
Otouto was born from the same design language, but with a different rhythm. Exclusively created in woven fabrics, it is more relaxed, fluid and feminine, clothing that feels easy on the body while retaining the thoughtfulness that defines BENNCH.
The name itself means younger sibling in Japanese, and that is exactly how we see it: not a separate story, but another expression of the same one.
BENNCH and Otouto are different, but they belong together.
One speaks a little louder.
The other is a little softer.
One plays with structure and contrast.
The other leans into movement and ease.
Together, they represent the way we see clothing and perhaps the way we see ourselves. There is never just one side to anything.
Two sisters. Two brands. One shared belief: that everyday dressing can be thoughtful, expressive and entirely your own.
